A word about AI
The book is direct about the risk of systems that reflect our assumptions back to us and congratulate us for holding them — flattering mirrors. These tools deliberately do not do that. They use no AI model. They ask questions, they organise your own reasoning, and where they offer an interpretation they show which of your answers produced it so that you can disagree with it.
If AI-assisted interpretation is added later, it will be built to introduce critical distance: multiple readings, exposed assumptions, counter-readings, acknowledged uncertainty — never automatic validation.
